🎯 PowerDarts League — Terms of Service

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and PowerDarts League ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the PowerDarts League service at dpl.power-nas.info (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We operate from Victoria, Australia.

1. Your account

You must provide a valid email and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account, and at least 18 to enable Adult mode (see clause 4).
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

2. The Service & plans

The free plan includes core league features with a limit on saved player names and displays advertising.
Paid plans remove advertising and unlock all settings, unlimited players and Adult mode. Fees are shown at checkout in Australian dollars.
We may change features, plans or pricing, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect a current paid subscription.

3. Auto-generated announcer content ("trash talk")

The Service includes an announcer that automatically generates light-hearted "trash talk" during games. This content is:

Automatically generated for entertainment from templates and randomised phrasing — it is fiction, not a statement of fact, opinion, or a comment about any real person.
Not directed by us at any individual. Any player names you enter are yours; you choose who plays and where the Service is displayed.

4. Adult mode (18+)

Adult mode produces explicit language and crude humour. It is off by default and available only on paid plans.

By enabling Adult mode you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that you want to receive explicit, profane content.
You are solely responsible for choosing to enable it and for where and to whom you display or play it aloud — for example, you should not run it where minors, or people who have not consented, will see or hear it.
You can turn Adult mode off at any time in Settings.
The content is machine-generated for comedic effect and is not aimed at, or a statement about, any real person.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In particular, you must not use player names or other inputs to harass, defame, threaten or vilify any person, or to display content in a way that is unlawful in your location.

6. Your responsibility & indemnity

You are responsible for how you use the Service, the names and data you enter, and where you display its output. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful or infringing use of the Service — for example, a third-party complaint about how you displayed generated content. This clause does not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our own breach or negligence.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. The limitations below apply only to the extent the law allows.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Except for the guarantees in clause 7, the Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill.
Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to re-supplying the Service or, at our option, refunding the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including clauses 6, 8 and 10) continue to apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. This does not deprive you of the protection of the consumer laws of the place where you live.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
