🎯 PowerDarts League — Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It sets out how you may and may not use PowerDarts League (the "Service"). We wrote it in plain language — the aim is simple: enjoy the darts, and don't use the Service to harm anyone.

You must not use the Service to:

Break the law, or encourage anyone else to.
Enter player names, league names or other text intended to harass, bully, defame, threaten, or vilify a real person, or that is obscene in a way targeted at an individual.
Enter content that is hateful or discriminatory towards a person or group based on a protected attribute (such as race, religion, sex, sexuality, disability or age).
Impersonate someone, or enter another person's details without their consent.
Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or the systems it runs on.
Resell, sublicense or present the Service as your own without our written permission.

The auto-generated announcer

The announcer generates comedic "trash talk" automatically. It is fiction produced for entertainment. Because you choose the player names and where the Service is displayed, you are responsible for making sure the combination of names and generated content, in your setting, does not target or harm a real person.

Adult mode

Adult mode generates explicit and profane language. It is for adults (18+) who have chosen to receive it.
Only enable it in settings where everyone present is an adult and comfortable with explicit content. Do not use it where minors, staff, customers or others who have not consented will see or hear it — for example, an open public venue.
You must not combine Adult mode with a real person's name in order to direct explicit abuse at that individual.

Enforcement

If you breach this Policy we may remove content, suspend features (such as Adult mode), or suspend or close your account. Serious or unlawful conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will usually contact you first.
